WOW. I have the most awesome story EVER!
My friend Bethany and I were given this free special fast-pass thing when we went to Disneyland!
Being the first one in the park has some serious perks! We were the first in to California adventures and this staff guy gave us the fast passes (basically, they let you cut in front of anybody whenever you wanna ride the ride and you don't have to wait!!!).
So Beth and I were using these awesome fast passes for Splash Mountain, when we ended up in the back of the ride behind a bunch of Chinese completely non-english speaking tourists. They didn't say a word (even to each other!) practically the whole time...
And well... you know how they have the intros's before each ride? Like: Hello! And welcome to Disneyland's Space Mountain. Keep your hands and arms inside the ship at all times...etc.
Well on splash mountain what they say is something like: "Hello, and welcome to Disney's Splash Mountain! Keep your hands blah blah blah.....and remember to have a ZIPPADEEDODAH day!"
One of the old chinese guys at the front let out an "Ah!!" of recognition (I think?) and said, "ZEE-PAH-DEE-DOO-DAAAH!" with the heaviest Chinese accent I have ever heard and they all started laughing like it was the funniest thing ever!
It was SO funny! Probably one of those "you had to be there" things... but it was so great...! Epic!
I can do the accent surprisingly well... so if you actually know me, ask me for it! It's much better in person!
